Estonia has the scoop for the Baltic states

Datum: 4 june 2025

In May of this year, elms were vaccinated for the first time in Estonia. This gives Estonia the scoop of the Baltic states. A total of 85 elms in Tallinn received their annual vaccination. The reason for starting vaccination was the increasingly rapid spread of Dutch Elm Disease in Estonia. The capital Tallinn is setting the example for other municipalities in Estonia.

Liina Jürisoo from the University of Life Sciences talks about it on national broadcaster ERR. Listen to the clip (in Estonian) or read the full article on the deployment of DutchTrig in Tallinn on Estonian public broadcaster ERR’s website (in English).
