Every year elms are affected by Dutch elm disease. A shame of the cultural and aesthetic value they represent in our landscape. For a century the Netherlands has been very active in keeping the disease under control. Both current knowledge and solutions originate from our country. This ‘national’ heritage is recognized and praised worldwide and we do not want to lose it!

Curious about the 2021 results?
In the 29 years that idverde Bomendienst has been injecting elms, the result has always been exceptionally good. Of all injected elms, only a very small number get sick. Last season, almost 21,000 elms were injected in the Netherlands and the failure rate was only 1.4%. This means huge savings on the cost of felling, removal and replanting.
