Pilot Project in Fredericton

The capital city of New Brunswick, Fredericton, has started with the protection of her elms in May of this year. The biological vaccine DutchTrig® is used to inject healthy elms so as to keep them safe from Dutch Elm Disease.

As part of this project, an evaluation will be held this month. DutchTrig® has been used in Canada since 2009-2010. In this article you will read more about the program in Fredericton.
